Making a Booking
Please note that no bookings can be made by telephone.
An online Booking Form must be completed.
On its receipt, you will be sent an acknowledgment letter, subject to availability. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Two weeks prior to the course date you will be sent a confirmation letter with details of the course and a venue map. If you are booking near to the course date, please call us to check availability on 07915 482096.
Please complete the Booking Form and forward to us via post or email. A deposit of 25% is required for all in-house courses as training/workshops are bespoke and as such, have to be written by one of our trainers. Please note that we will not begin to write any content unless we are in receipt of cleared funds.
Muslim Youth Skills offers a no questions asked, 48-hour refund policy for purchases made online for all of our services. After 48-hours, refunds are not guaranteed and will only be made under the conditions below.
1. Courses and Online Programmes
Whether payment has been received or not, once a booking has been made, you will be liable for the whole course fee, unless we receive written notification of more than 5 days before the course or workshop.
If we receive written notification of more than 5 days prior to the course, will refund you the full course fee, less any processing fees. You also have the option to be transferred onto another course/seminar (subject to availability).
No refunds will be made for bookings cancelled less than 5 days before the course or seminar, or for non-attendance on the day, except in exceptional circumstances. Please write to: firstname.lastname@example.org giving full details of why you were unable to attend, enclosing any supporting documentation.
Verbal cancellations will not be accepted, but a colleague may take your place.
We hold the right to cancel a course if there is insufficient take up of places.
You will be informed 7 days prior to the date of the course.
Many of our retreats & residentials require months of advanced planning and as such, a deposit is expected at least 90 days before the event. We also ffer a no questions asked, 48-hour refund policy for our retreats/residentials. Anything within 90 days of the event is non-refundable, unless we cancel. Muslim Youth Skills have the right to cancel any event, retreat or residential without prior notice. Muslim Youth Skills will not take liability for any costs incurred for flights booked, with a view of attending one of our overseas events.
Other factors for cancelling, relocating, or changing a retreat date may be due to circumstances beyond our control, including cancellations due to a pandemic, war, civil or political unrest, labour strikes, or terrorism. In such circumstances:
- Muslim Youth Skills will make a reasonable effort to provide written notice of the cancellation. If written notice is not practicable due to the timescales involved, we will use reasonable methods of notice, including email and text messages.
- You will be given the option to transfer to another retreat (subject to availability).
- Muslim Youth Skills will have no responsibility for any costs incurred, including any travel or accommodation costs.
In the event that any overpayment is made for a course or service, third parties have a period of 28 days to make a claim, provided that sufficient evidence/paperwork is provided.
No liability will be accepted by Muslim Youth Skills after this period.
