Wouldn’t you like to live your life feeling awesome?
Muslim Youth Skills is offering a very unique programme based to help our children to be confident about themselves and their future.
This programme will help our children to uncover their own TRUE Core Values that will help them to connect better with their friends, family (YOU), faith, and their future. In fact, I use the 5F Model to help them to create a balance in all areas:
Faith
Family
Friendships
Fun
Fitness
With our children going back to school soon, they should feel confident about themselves, who they are in their identity, what they believe in and what the future holds for them. COVID hasn’t helped. It has affected young people in ways that make them question their sense of self-worth, identity and of course uncertainty about the future. Right now, it’s about how we invest in our children, to help them make sense of what’s going around them and how they can take control of their future.
Overview
The programme will help young people to explore who they are – their self-identity – what’s important to them, how they can make the right decisions in life based on what they discover, and how to stay motivated to bring about change; within themselves and to the world around them.
There will be activities and fun-filled challenges specifically designed to inspire, and enable each and every young person to uncover their unique Core Values, abilities, and develop greater self-confidence to eliminate family, school and life stress, while simultaneously showing them ways to express themselves confidently. It will also help them to make important life decisions and pursue educational and career paths that they are passionate about, which serve them.
Each participant will receive a workbook that they will complete during and in-between sessions.
Follow-up to this programme
“I will be connecting with young people who have been through the programme on a monthly basis online, delivering empowering seminars and addressing hard-hitting questions such as life purpose, work and relationships etc. The ultimate aim is to ‘follow the journey’ of graduates and offer them the chance to be part of an annual alumni programme (I’m hoping physically, as soon as COVID allows!), so that they can create strong networks with like-minded people, to help strengthen social capital*.“
“I’m really hoping that I can empower the next generation of young Muslims who are confident about their faith and identity, clear about what they want to do in life and have built amazing contacts for future business endeavours and peer support.“
